Terms of Service

By accessing or using the RPPI website at rppi.space (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a preliminary agreement applicable during the current testing and evaluation phase. RPPI reserves the right to modify, replace, or supersede these Terms at any time, with or without notice, as the Platform transitions toward commercial operation.

RPPI (Rocket Payload Price Index) is a benchmarking platform that publishes indicative price indexes for orbital freight costs, measured in USD per kilogram. The Platform provides:

• Daily index values for satellite rideshare launch pricing
• Historical data, analytics, and visualization tools
• Research articles and methodology documentation
• An API for programmatic data access
• An AI-powered research assistant

All features are provided on an “as-is” basis for informational, educational, and evaluation purposes only. No feature of the Platform constitutes a financial product, service, or offering.

All data displayed on the Platform — including but not limited to index values, forward curves, volatility metrics, capacity utilization figures, provider breakdowns, and AI-generated responses — is indicative and preliminary. Specifically:

• Index values are derived from a combination of public data, estimated inputs, and synthetic data generated for testing purposes
• Historical data may include synthetic or back-tested values that do not represent actual market transactions
• Forward curves and volatility analytics are modeled outputs and do not reflect binding quotes or executable prices
• Confidence scores and status labels (FIRM, INDICATIVE, STALE) are methodological classifications and do not imply any warranty of accuracy

You must not rely on any data from this Platform for commercial, financial, or operational decisions.

The Platform references conceptual financial products (e.g., futures, swaps, settlement mechanisms) for informational and research purposes only. These references describe potential future capabilities and do not constitute:

• An offer or solicitation to buy, sell, or trade any financial instrument
• Investment advice, financial advice, or any form of professional recommendation
• A regulated exchange, trading venue, or clearinghouse
• A broker-dealer, investment adviser, or commodity trading advisor

No transactions can be executed through the Platform. RPPI is not registered with the SEC, CFTC, or any other financial regulatory authority, nor is such registration currently required given the pre-commercial nature of the Platform.

The Platform may offer user accounts and API keys for testing and evaluation purposes. By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Maintain the security of your credentials and API keys
• Not share API keys or attempt to circumvent rate limits
• Use the API solely for evaluation, research, or personal non-commercial purposes

RPPI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. All API access is provided at zero cost during the testing phase and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

The RPPI name, index methodology, website design, research content, and all associated intellectual property are owned by RPPI. You may not:

• Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit index data without written permission
• Use RPPI trademarks or branding in a manner that implies endorsement or affiliation
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data beyond what is provided through the API
• Reverse-engineer the index calculation methodology beyond what is publicly documented

Limited use of index data for personal research, academic citation, or editorial commentary is permitted with appropriate attribution.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory
• RPPI disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, and non-infringement
• RPPI shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform
• This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if RPPI has been advised of the possibility of such damages

RPPI may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. RPPI may also, at its sole discretion:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform without notice
• Change the methodology, data sources, or calculation approach for any index
• Transition from a free testing phase to a commercial service with different terms
• Remove or alter historical data, including synthetic test data

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
