Privacy Policy

Account Information

If you create an account, we collect the information you provide during registration, which may include your email address and a display name. Account creation is optional and only required for API key access.

Usage Data

We automatically collect limited technical data when you access the Platform:

• Pages visited and features used
• API endpoints called and request frequency
• Browser type, operating system, and device category
• IP address (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention; not stored long-term)
• Referring URL and access timestamps

AI Chat Interactions

If you use the AI research assistant, your queries and the generated responses may be logged for quality improvement purposes. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information through the chat interface.

During the testing phase, collected information is used solely to:

• Operate and maintain the Platform
• Authenticate users and manage API key access
• Monitor Platform performance, uptime, and error rates
• Enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
• Improve index methodology, data quality, and user experience
• Respond to inquiries and support requests

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any commercial purpose beyond Platform operation.

Platform data is stored on Cloudflare’s global infrastructure, utilizing:

• Cloudflare Workers for serverless compute (no persistent server-side storage of request data)
• Cloudflare D1 for structured database storage (account data, API keys)
• All data transmitted over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption
• API keys stored as salted hashes, never in plaintext

While we implement reasonable security measures appropriate for a testing-phase platform, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Infrastructure providers: Cloudflare processes requests as our hosting provider, subject to their own privacy policy
• AI service providers: Chat queries are processed by Anthropic’s Claude API, subject to Anthropic’s data usage policies
• Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation
• Safety: To prevent fraud, abuse, or threats to Platform security

The Platform uses minimal cookies and local storage:

• Authentication token: A session cookie to maintain your login state (if you create an account)
• Preferences: Local storage for UI preferences (e.g., selected time ranges, chart settings)

We do not use third-party analytics services, advertising trackers, or social media tracking pixels. Cloudflare may collect anonymized analytics as part of its standard service.

During the testing phase:

• Account data is retained for the duration of the testing phase or until you request deletion
• API usage logs are retained for up to 30 days
• Chat interaction logs are retained for up to 90 days for quality review
• All test-phase data may be purged when the Platform transitions to commercial operation

You may at any time:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw from the testing program by deleting your account
• Contact us with questions or concerns about your privacy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

A comprehensive privacy policy compliant with applicable regulations (including GDPR and CCPA where applicable) will be published prior to any commercial launch.
